“Financial Literacy was introduced to me here at YWCA-VTOC. I wondered what is it with money, if not to spend them all on family and friends. For that, I thank Ms. Rachel Melvin for making the financial literacy classes so engaging and eye-opening.

 

She taught me that managing money isn't just about math; it is about security and independence. Because of her guidance, I no longer see money as something to just 'spend and forget,' but as a tool to build the life I want. I am walking away from VTOC not just with skills in beauty care, but with the discipline to manage my future."​
